\"poker\" <\/p>\n

Poker is a card game played by two or more people. The objective of the game is to use your cards to make a five-card hand that beats the other players\u2019 hands. The best hand wins the pot. If no one has a high enough hand, the pot is split evenly among the players.<\/p>\n

The game of poker has many variations, but they all involve betting, bluffing and trying to read your opponents. A good player is always thinking about what their opponent has and making moves based on that. For example, if an opponent folds often under pressure then you can assume that they are playing a weak hand and should bet aggressively.<\/p>\n

Once everyone has their hole cards, a round of betting begins. There are 2 mandatory bets, called blinds, put into the pot by the players to the left of the dealer. These bets give the players an incentive to call or raise their hands.<\/p>\n

After the first round of betting is complete the dealer deals 3 cards face up on the table. These are the community cards that anyone can use to improve their hand. There is another round of betting, starting with the player to the left of the dealer.<\/p>\n

The final step is to reveal your cards and decide whether to call, raise or fold. When you say \u201craise\u201d you are adding more money to the bet and you must match the highest bet made at the table so far.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
