Our Helping Homes Program offers available furnishings at no charge to families caring for children in foster care. A lot goes into becoming a foster care home. We work to make this transition less stressful, both financially and physically. In addition to these services, we work closely with Heartland for Children to supply additional needs. Every few weeks, we deliver basic needs to the Department of Children and Family Services Locations in Lakeland, Bartow, and Lake Wales (also serving Sebring) to provide for children transitioning into foster care.
Join our Helping Homes Efforts:
Donate new or gently used bedroom furnishings. (ie small dressers, cribs, chests, desks, night stands, bedding)
Donate new or gently used mattresses. (Twin and Full sizes preferred.)
Donate hygiene kits containing: toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, 3-in1 shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, and brush.
Donate financially to cover expenses for bedding needs such as bunk beds, twin mattresses, etc.
Host a diaper drive for children entering foster care. Sizes 1 through pull-ups are appreciated.
Pray for the Lord’s provision of hygiene products and bedding furnishings for children in need of a home.
